The single biggest problem for your laptop once it has fluid inside it is electricity.

If you have power going to your laptop from either the charger or the battery it can cause damage that cannot be repaired.

Liquids like water, tea, coke or beer can seep very quickly through your keyboard onto the motherboard. Once there the can react with some of the metals and start to oxidise, then you can get a build up as shown above. You need to act fast to so save your laptop. Take the battery out, remove any excess fluid and then bring your laptop in to us.
